Poster Presentation Guidelines

1. Dimensions of Poster Board
   88 cm wide and 150 cm high (see the schematic figure left).
   Put the presentation title, authors and affiliations at the top of the poster.   The poster board has a reserved area for your poster number in the upper left-hand corner, 15 cm wide and 10 cm deep, as shown as a grey box in the figure.   Get your poster number prior to the seminar here.
2. Poster Presentation and Preview
   • October 2, 14:30-15:40,  the Poster Preview for Poster Session 1.
     Presenters have an opportunity to give your short talk about the research at the Main Hall. In the order of the poster number, you can give your short talk (less than 3 min) with a few slides operated by the chair. Please send your Power Point file to be used in your talk.
   • October 2, 15:40-17:00,  the Poster Session 1.
     Be staying present at the poster place and wait for scientific discussions and evaluation by Poster Award judges.
   • October 3, 14:20-15:30,  the Poster Preview for Poster Session 2.
     In the same manner as Poster Session 1 instructed above.
   • October 3, 15:30-16:50,  the Poster Session 2.
     As in the same manner described for Poster Session 1 above.
3. Materials for Poster Presentation (2 upto 3 min Oral Presentation)
   Submit your oral presentation materials (in PowerPoint) to the local committee (jtbw2013lc@biohybrid.org) no later than September 27 (Friday). Please note that the compilation work of your materials will be done on next Saturday, therefore you shouldn’t give it behind the deadline.
4. Poster Mounting
   Posters should be mounted during lunch time (12:00-13:20) on October 3.  Pushpins for displaying the posters are available.
5. Removing the Poster
   Posters will be removed by the staff between 17:00-18:00 on October 4.  If you wish to get back your poster, please let us know in advance.
